Age of Shadow - Northern Kingdom Map (WIP)

I'm finally getting back to work on the Age of Shadow setting, and to start things off I'm expanding the detail version of the world map (or at least that part of the map that covers most of the North Kingdom), and adding various settlements and areas of interest from my notes.

So, since it's been a while since the last Age of Shadow update, I thought I post an early WIP pic of how it's looking thus far:

Note that the large world map can be found HERE, and the existing detail map (as found in the back of the main rule book) can be seen HERE

Misc. Map Album

I just thought I'd let folks know that I've started a new album over on google+ that contains a couple of maps that I've drawn recently that might be of use to a few GMs out there.

Here's the LINK for anyone who might be interested.

2012 Map-a-Monday (week 34)

Here's the fourth 'cave corner' geomorph:

...which means that there's enough to actually use now (though I'm still planning on creating at least another three of each 'corner' - so that there'll be 16 in total).

So, here's a quick look at how a cave system might look with these new tiles added...

...which hopefully breaks things up a bit, and helps it look a little less modular (though admittedly, not by that much).

Olympic Giveaway (part 2)

Last week I said that if Team GB finished 3rd in the medal table (which is probably the best position we could have hoped to attain) then I would make one of my pdf booklets available for free over on RPGNow...

Well, true to my word you can now download the Purple Mountain lvl 1 battle-map for free (until further notice).

In addition, for TODAY ONLY, you can also grab the Colony 19 Room set for absolutely free (all you need do is follow THIS LINK ...which takes you to a special discount page on RPGNow).

...and since team GB finished 3rd I should really have a 3rd offer ...so you can also grab the East Eyrie map-pack for just $1 for the rest of the week. Simply follow THIS LINK to apply the discount.

Happy downloading :)

Olympic Giveaway

Team GB are doing rather well at the moment (3rd in the overall medal table) ...and if it stays like that (i.e. GB in the top 3) I think I'm going to make one of my booklets (over on RPGNow/DriveThruRPG) available for free for a day or two after it's all over.

...so, come on team GB!
