One Mini Every Week #22

It would seem that I'm struggling to find the time to keep up with my painting challenge of late, and so this week I've gone with something quick and easy...


...and as you can see, I've turned some old plastic Games Workshop mini's into some reasonable looking bronze statues :)

I've also based them on small (2mm thick) mdf bases of varying sizes (to make the plinth-like shape), and for the pedestal that the gem is resting upon, I've just used a small plastic golf tee with the spikey end cut off.

So, even though I'm not a big fan of the overly chunky (legless) look of these particular sculpts, I think they'll work well enough.

(now all I need to do is come up with an evil trap/encounter that incorporates these 3 pieces ;) )
